From The Artist:

"Walking aboard the USS Constitution is like walking onto a living museum. It's amazing to think of the conditions that the men lived in aboard this ship. This is one place that Forest definitely wasn't allowed!"

Description

The oldest commissioned warship afloat in the world, the USS Constitution was one of six frigates ordered built by our new government in 1794 for its fledgling navy.

It was during battle in the war of 1812 that her black painted hull gave her the nickname "Old Ironsides", a testament to her great strength. British canon fire bounced off her wooden hull as though it were made of iron.

Adding to her great strength was her great speed. Three masts of Maine pine support 36 sails that allow a speed of 13-14 knots.
